Today, Isometric launches the industry's first AI-assisted validation in Certify. This new feature enables verifiers to review projects more efficiently and focus on what matters most: ensuring every credit represents a tonne of carbon dioxide removed from the atmosphere.
Manual verification reviews are a major challenge for scaling carbon removal. For suppliers to build trust with buyers, credit deliveries need to happen on time—but time-consuming, manual reviews are slowing verifiers down and limiting how fast credits can be issued.
With AI-assisted validation, Certify now proactively identifies potential compliance gaps in project designs—such as incomplete protocol requirements or missing evidence—before human review begins. Any issues are flagged to suppliers, who can update their validation submissions directly in the platform. Certify then automatically checks these responses against the relevant Isometric protocol, while also creating a clear timeline of issues raised and resolved.
By the time a verifier opens a project, many potential problems have already been caught and addressed. For verifiers, this means less time spent on routine checks and more time ensuring the quality of carbon removal. For suppliers, it means faster feedback, clearer requirements, and quicker paths to credit issuance.
