Updates to the Registry and Certify platforms

The latest from the Isometric Changelog

Chris Podgorney
Head of Product

Isometric recently launched a Changelog to track new products, features and improvements to the Registry and Certify platforms.

Scaling carbon removal requires continuous improvement on our monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) tools so we can deliver monthly verification.

The Isometric team shipped several key updates over the past few weeks.

Transparency for buyers and suppliers

  • Durability labels on credits: All Isometric credits now feature a label indicating durability, helping buyers assess the long-term impact of their purchases.
  • Updated supplier page: The supplier page has been redesigned to give a clearer overview of validated and upcoming projects.
  • Clearer removal data interface: Suppliers can now more easily view, edit, and understand their carbon dioxide flux data, with an improved design.
  • Credit delivery by feedstock: Buyers can now request credits based on specific feedstocks and suppliers can fulfill orders accordingly.

Project operations

  • Feedstock eligibility: A new self-service tool allows suppliers to check if their feedstocks meet Isometric’s accounting standards and submit new biomass feedstocks for validation.
  • New visualization tools: Enhanced Weathering projects now feature plot maps showing where weathering occurred, including control, treatment, and deployment areas.
  • Project emissions tracking: Suppliers can now easily track embodied emissions throughout a project’s lifecycle, with automated allocation rules to ensure accurate accounting.

These improvements reinforce Isometric’s mission to issue the world’s highest quality carbon credits by upholding scientific rigor in MRV and making verification as rapid as possible.
