Deep Sky, the world’s first tech-agnostic carbon removal project developer, has selected Isometric as its carbon registry for Deep Sky Alpha. This partnership will see Deep Sky and Isometric work together to provide the global carbon market with access to trusted, high-quality carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits.

Under the agreement, Isometric will oversee monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) activities and issue carbon removal credits in accordance with the Isometric Standard and Isometric’s Direct Air Capture (DAC) Protocol.

Montreal-based Deep Sky takes a tech-agnostic approach to CDR by deploying multiple technologies from different suppliers. This centralizes infrastructure, storage, and measurement, while streamlining deployment for suppliers.

Alex Petre, CEO of Deep Sky, said:

“The future of carbon removal depends on trust. Isometric’s scientifically rigorous, transparent approach gives our customers and investors the confidence they need to scale DAC infrastructure.”

Deep Sky is on track to deliver its first DAC carbon removal credits to customers this summer using Isometric Certify, which streamlines every step of verification to help suppliers issue high-quality credits quickly and easily.

We’re looking forward to working with Deep Sky to bring high-quality DAC credits to market. Innovative models like Deep Sky’s, which accelerate deployment, are essential to help carbon removal scale responsibly and fast.
