Isometric has issued its first verified carbon removal credits facilitated by automated data sharing via Certify’s Open API from Mangrove Systems’ digital tracking platform—a major step forward for accelerating credit issuance.
Rapid, monthly verification is essential for carbon removal suppliers, unlocking the revenue they need to scale their projects and climate impact. Automated digital measurement, reporting, and verification (dMRV) enables suppliers to significantly reduce the time, effort, and cost required to collect and submit verification data.
A total of 291 credits have been issued to Charm Industrial under Isometric’s Core Carbon Principles (CCP)-approved Bio-oil Geological Storage Protocol. This issuance was facilitated by Mangrove Systems’ dMRV platform, which gathers granular data directly from Charm’s operations and storage partners and submits it automatically to Isometric Certify for verification.

In December 2024, Isometric announced partnerships with seven leading dMRV providers—including Mangrove Systems—and now works with 13 providers in total.
The data and calculations behind each credit are publicly available on the Isometric Registry, providing a permanent audit trail for every credit issued and allowing all underlying information to be independently reviewed and scrutinized.
